The company

Temple Digital Group, builder of the first central limit orderbook on the Canton Network, partnered with IntellectEU and CatalyX for assistance with Daml architecture The orderbook settles atomically and never takes custody of client assets.

The challenge

Temple Digital Group is building a tokenized trading ecosystem on the Canton Network. The harder constraint was architectural. A non-custodial orderbook locks collateral it does not control, and the first version of Canton's Token Standard allows asset owners to withdraw allocations unilaterally. That demanded new contract patterns.

How CatalyX and IntellectEU power it
01

The outcome

The order book went live on Canton MainNet in eleven weeks. Temple is today the top application on Canton Network by transaction volume and is responsible for over 40% of Canton’s daily burn and most synchronizer daily updates.

Temple is the most liquid venue on Canton and the network's top app by burn. Settlement had to be right from the first trade — IntellectEU got us there.
